Presenting Boob Tube and her Technicoloured Boobs! This was an entry for the Tuna Carpaccio Villain Contest, 2009. My friend Greg came up with the concept and puns, and had me scribble out some sort of illustration. We didnt win the contest, but it was fun anyhow, and we got an honourable mention.
[link] Here's Greg's description of the dame. This one's a collaborative effort between me (who's been abusing puns all his life) and my good friend David(who can drag a stylus across a tablet with more dexterity than a meth-addicted hippo). The result of a random and terrible idea of mine is: BOOB TUBE! Before you ask, it isn't the greatest video site on the net, it's an incredibly silly villain. Her gimmickery is many-fold: She has boobs Those boobs are a TV (a "boob tube," get it?) The phrase "technicolor boobs" refers both to her chest, and her foolish henchmen She fights with a giant vacuum tube, which maybe doesn't merit its own point on this list Oh, she also has a remote control, as you can see. That's just a part I felt was necessary for a TV-themed villain, I didn't come up with anything original for it to do. Her cleverish catchphrase is: "Stay tuned to keep abreast of the titillating end of Tuna Carpaccio!" It's a little long-winded, but TVs make lots of noise, so I think it kinda works. |
